Is white hair in young people a fatality?

white hair solutions

Have you ever heard it said: "I'm afraid of looking too old, I've got greying temples! Aging doesn't spoil me"? But then, why does hair turn white? Is there any significance to the first white hairs?

The appearance of the first young white hairalso known as canitie is not necessarily linked to advancing age.

We have the impression that early-onset canitis is appearing earlier and earlier every year, that our teenagers are already turning grey.

I. What causes young grey hair?

The element responsible for hair color is melanin

A color pigment produced by certain cells: melanocytes. A slowdown in melanocyte activity leads to a drop in melanin production, resulting in gray or even white hair.

This decline can be explained by several factors: stressgenetic and hereditary factors, external pollution, hormonal imbalance melanin deficiencyWe're not just talking about hair loss, we're also talking about smoking and the use of unsuitable hair care products that are harsh on the scalp.

Salt-and-pepper hair is sexy for some, like Clooney, but undesirable for others, especially young people.

The appearance of these young white hairs is also an opportunity to change hair color.

You can always camouflage them by going to a hair salon for color or highlights.

However, with the passage of time and repeated bleaching, chemicals like hydrogen peroxide make hair fragile.

We need to take good care of our hair, and even natural tone-on-tone colors make hair dry, especially on the lengths.(Some people apply henna to their hair - why not!).

It doesn't have to be that way. Don't hesitate to strengthen hair with keratina natural constituent of hair. Food supplements based on pure keratin are very effective. It will also strengthen your natural pigments for beautiful darker hair.

If, despite your young age, you're comfortable with the beauty of lightened hair, we recommend you opt for chamomile, which revives the whiteness of your hair.

The benefits of melanin

Do you know this pigment? Have you heard of benefits of melanin ? Melanin slows down the bleaching process of the hair and prevents the appearance of new white hair.

II. Links between grey hair and stress

As we all know, stress is our worst enemy, causing a great deal of damage to our bodies.

Stress attacks our stem cells and regrowth gives way to white hair and even yellowing or whitening of the mane.

We wonder if everything will fade or if stress will even lead to baldness.

Our hair becomes brittle, and sometimes we just want to hide it from other people's eyes!

To fight free radical oxidation, why not turn to dietary supplements hair ? We tell you all about it.

III. Hair supplements

Why take hair supplements?

Topical hair care products quickly reach their limits. Their nutrition only reaches 20% of your scalp cells

To reach the remaining 80%, we need to work from the inside out, providing the right dose of active ingredients and micronutrients

A healthy bulb needs: sulfur amino acids, B vitamins and trace elements.

These active ingredients are normally present in our food.

Unfortunately, today's impoverished diets are no longer sufficient to bring out our body's full potential.

Additional melanin gradually darkens grey and white hair by re-pigmenting the hair fibre.

In addition, some food supplements such as activators of hormonal balanceThey combat stress caused by lack of sleep or serotonin deficiency.

Other, more unitary formulas, such as the magnesium for example, strengthens our defense mechanisms against stress and prevents the onset of premature cancer. Reinforcing the fiber with keratin has been shown to be highly effective.

IV. White hair and deficiencies

To combat white hair and deficiencies, the bulb and the melanocytes it contains must function well.

To achieve this, the hair bulb must be supplied with the right nutrients. To weave healthy hair and achieve beautiful color highlights, the bulb creates keratin.

Keratin is created from the following ingredients: sulfur-containing amino acids such as lysine, methionine and cystine; B vitamins (B5, B8, B9); and trace elements such as zinc, copper and iron.

Because of external aggressions (stress, pollution, poor diet, oxidative stress, etc.), the quantity of nutrients can be affected, and we find ourselves in a deficiency situation. Without the right nutrients, our bulbs can't create enough keratin and melanin to weave a colorful hair fiber.

Some people adapt to this new hair colour and even buy shampoos that give their hair silver highlights to change their hair colour and give their short or long haircut a boost.

V. Can vitiligo affect our melanocytes?

Vitiligo is a skin depigmentation that creates white patches. This is due to the loss of melanocytes: the skin no longer has the pigments to be colored.

When the disease develops, it affects the hair bulbs and capillaries. We speak of leucotrichia. There is therefore a link between vitiligo and the appearance of white hair.

Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease, which is partly genetic. When it's genetic, it can affect young people, and it's difficult to combat.

Melanin supplements help to delayhair thinning

During this time and afterwards, you can touch up your hair with home coloring, affordable for young people's budgets, to revive any hair color: black hair, ash or dark blond hair, chestnuts, or long red hair.

If you choose to have your hair dyed by a hairdresser, don't forget to tell them to keep your hair a natural shade, firstly to avoid ending up with blue hair or pink coloring (you never know ...) and secondly because vitiligo doesn't affect the whole head, so you need to keep the white hair consistent with the rest of your head.

Don't skimp on hair care: consider using regenerating masks such as those from Christophe Robin for example.

Be careful not to tear out your hair with overly aggressive brushing or strong oxidants. This will accelerate the process of hair weakening.
